This Cookie Policy explains how Vav uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at vav.global and in our web app at app.vav.money, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. The website and app are operated by Sterick Limited, trading as Vav, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Company Registration No. 80436340).
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include browser storage (such as local storage), which lets a site remember information on your device. They can be “strictly necessary” to make a site work, or used for preferences, analytics or marketing.
3. Our website (vav.global)
Our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not load any third-party analytics or advertising tags. It uses only a small amount of browser storage to remember your choices:

Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from attacks and spam and to balance traffic. These do not identify you and cannot be switched off without affecting the site’s security.
4. Our web app (app.vav.money)
The Vav app uses strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect your account, prevent fraud, remember security settings and keep the service working. Because the app provides financial services, these are essential and cannot be switched off while you use it.
Our partners and identity verification providers may use similar technologies within the app, for example to collect device and session information that helps detect fraud and verify your identity. They do so only for those purposes.
If we introduce optional analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent before using them where the law requires, and update this policy.
5. Your choices
You can delete stored cookies and local storage, and block them in future, through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the app from working. Clearing local storage on our website will reset your theme preference on that device.
